The Scheme-Oakdale Golf Club
Joint membership for new and existing Academy members to be availabe from January 2011, to be taken up for 12 months at any time through to December 31st 2011 (so could run until December 2012).
Oakdale Golf Club fee payable up front of £685 (no monthly credit available for this scheme).
As a trial member you would not be able to play in any 'Board' competitions but would be able to play in monthly weekend and midweek medal competitions as well as Stableford competitions and Invitation Days. You would need to attain a handicap to play in these events, should you not have a valid handicap when taking up the scheme this can be achieved by submitting 3 'cards' on a qualifying course which must be signed by an existing member of Oakdale GC. The Handicaps & Competitions team will then issue an appropriate handicap. If you won a weekend or midweek medal you would not be able to play in the Annual Medal as this is a 'Board' competition.

There would be no voting rights.

You would not be classed as a full member.

This scheme is for 12 months duration only.
Should you wish to upgrade to Full Membership at any time during the Trial Membership period you could do so by paying the joining fee of £360.00 and the diffrence between Trial Membership and Full Membership.
The Scheme-The Academy

The Academy package is to be made available to all existing Oakdale GC members.

The Academy will offer a 15% discount on all single peak membership types.

New members will receive £175 worth of 'goodies' which will range from Luxurious Spa treatments, guest passes & supervised gym sessions.

There will be no joining or administration fees for anyone paying 12 months membership upfront.

The Academy reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time.
