Lifestyle Golf Package (Golf Points Scheme)
This package is available for those golfers who prefer the flexibility of playing golf at any time of day but cannot justify a Full Membership. The more points you purchase, the better value you get. There are no voting rights and you would not be a Full Member of Oakdale Golf Club.
The annual fee for this package is £180.00 (50% of our joining fee). Transfer to Full Membership is available after a minimum of 2 years, with no joining fee payable. Should you wish to upgrade to Full Membership before the end of the 2 year period, you could do so by paying the balance of the £360.00 as well as the normal subscription fee due for a Full Membership.
This package is not available to existing 5 day and full memberships of Oakdale, see terms and conditions.
All points are redeemable against rounds of golf, depending on the time of day (see grid below)

Summer Golf (April to October)

Points will be redeemed in the Professional Shop where staff will advise you of the points cost at the time you wish to play. Your attendance will be recorded in the Lifestyle Package book. As of January 1st 2011 we operate an open tee system which enables everyone to ‘turn up and play’, although it is advisable to consult both the website diary or the monitors at the club for pre booked visitors and other club matches etc.
The Lifestyle Golf Package would not allow you to play in any ‘Board’ competitions but you would be able to play in monthly, weekend and mid-week medal competitions and invitation days. You would need to attain a handicap to play in these events. Handicaps are achieved by submitting 3 cards on a qualifying course, signed by an existing member who holds an active handicap. The Handicap & Competitions team will then allocate an appropriate handicap. If you win a medal competition, you would not be eligible to enter the Annual Medal competition as this is a ‘Board’ competition.
Terms & Conditions
- Payment for the Lifestyle Golf Packages is due in full before play.
- This package is only available to those Oakdale members who have not been a playing member for at least 2 years.
- All Lifestyle Golf Package players must report to the Professional before entering the course. Failure to do so would result in the loss of points purchased.
- Members can sign in guests on a maximum of 3 occasions in any 12 month period using their points, but must always play with the guests. Golf points are personal to the member and are not transferable.
- All points must be used in the membership year in which they are purchased however, a maximum of 100 points may be carried forward into the next year provided a new annual membership is paid and the points are used within the first 3 months of the new membership year.

If you join after 1st June, you will pay a pro-rata membership fee. Prior to this date, the full fee of £180.00 is payable.
