Oakdale: Following government restrictions for COVID-19 the course is CLOSED
With a rich history, modern approach to membership and a lively social scene, Oakdale Golf Club is well regarded as one of the best golf clubs in the Yorkshire area.
Whether you are an expert golfer or just keen to try golf for the first time, you'll find a warm welcome at Oakdale.
Effective today, new national restrictions to help combat the spread of coronavirus have been introduced following the Prime Minister’s statement of 22 September.
These include, but are not limited to:
The club must display an official NHS QR Code for track and trace;
Face coverings must be worn by members, visitors and staff in all public areas, except when seated at a table;
The Clubhouse must close by 10.00 pm and not open until 5.00 am;
Food and drink must be ordered from, and served at, a table.
The new guidance is clearly displayed on entry to the clubhouse. Instructions on how to download and order food and drink through the Intelligent Golf App are displayed on each table in the bar and restaurant.
Members are reminded that:
You must book a tee time and play at 10 minute intervals;
Maintain social distancing at all times;
Keep to the 'Rule of Six' inside and outside the club house;
Not play or enter the clubhouse if you display any symptoms of Covid-19.
Please note that failure to adhere to these regulations has very severe consequences for the individual and the club.
We are constantly reviewing our health and safety practices, these will be updated to ensure the health and well-being of all our members, visitors and staff.
Thank you for your cooperation in advance.
Please stay safe, stay alert and stay healthy
